Work Right & Stay Back A wide range of job opportunities and work experiences are available for international students while studying in London and UK. International students can do part-time work up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time work during holidays. Students can earn around €5 - €7 per hour i.e. approx. €400 - €560 per month (Rs.30,000 - Rs.42,000) during the term. Students could look for part-time jobs by looking in the local newspapers and job shops. Many Universities and Colleges have career cells and work placement centers to help students find employment. However please note that students are not guaranteed part-time employment by the University/College. If you are going to the UK as a student for six months or less, you must ask the Entry Clearance Officer for permission to work. Intakes The major intake offered by all UK Universities is in September each year but the universities also offer few intakes in Jan / Feb.

Visa Requirements

Once the student has met all the requirements of the offer the University/College will issue a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies) which enables them to apply for the Student Visa. Financial Evidence is required to confirm that you have enough money to cover your course fee & living expenses for the given period. The funds should be 28 days old.

Graduate Degree

Master degree

Doctorate
One can pursue a doctoral program after completing a Master's. Normally, the duration of Doctoral level programs is between 3 and 6 years, depending on the field of research and university.
